I hope you enjoyed the previous two entries that are just a taste of the wonderful quilts that were on display at QuiltCon in Pasadena. I was so fortunate to finally make it to this show and I loved every minute of it. While I didn’t have the opportunity to take any classes, I would certainly like to add that to the mix when this show returns to the West in 2018. If you weren’t able to attend this year and consider yourself a modern quilter or a lover of modern quilts, make plans to attend the next show. You will not regret it! While it is fun to share my photos and I certainly hope that you have enjoyed them, there is nothing like actually being there to see the details and beauty of each of these creations in person. Each of these designs and quilts are the property of the respective maker.
Now to the art~
Please forgive the not so great photography. It is a challenge to image such large objects with hundreds of people wanting to do the same as you! One of the exhibition halls was VERY sunny and sadly some of the images just were terrible and washed out. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoyed these quilts and feel compelled to break out your stash and make something modern!
