When I first started this blog I struggled with a name that was descriptive and pithy. Not sure that I succeeded, but it is what it is. Meanwhile, I asked two of my granddaughters to draw me a picture of what their ultimate treehouse would look like.
Here is what they sent me:
The eldest granddaughter thought this out. She really has a rockin’ treehouse. There is a sign right out front to let you know what this place is. There a bit of a climb to the house. No worries tho….Mr. Squirrel will greet you on the way up. There are already visitors in the house awaiting your arrival and I hope that you brought your bathing suit. The way down is a quick, cooling waterslide. Now what’s not to love about that?
My younger granddaughter had a completely different idea of what her treehouse should look like. Simply perched in the middle of a very large tree is this bright and happy house. A coat of orange paint sets it apart from all others. Surrounded by the green leaves of the tree and brightened by the mid-day sun, happy butterflies flutter along. A cozy, relaxing place to rest yourself and enjoy nature. Excellent!
Thanks girls! You made B’s day 🙂
