Welcome Wee One!

There has been a flurry of activity all around and what a couple of exciting days! For a bit it looked as though the mister would be a grandfather again on Father’s Day but the latest addition to the family was on the go slow…..

Induced but extended

My step-daughter nervously called the hospital on Sunday morning to say that the wee one was still in residence and when could she come in for the eviction. After several rounds of calls, they finally notified her it was time to come in. Though this is her third child she was still nervous and rightfully so. One always hopes that nature does the right thing at the right time, but that isn’t always the case. Sometimes she needs a little push. Or a lot of them. Over a lot of hours!

Time flies….

or does it? When you are waiting, it doesn’t. When you are in pain, it doesn’t. But the clock kept rolling and still no babe. Nearly 24 hours later this little cutie decided it was finally time for her to make an entrance. To the relief and joy of all involved we gladly welcome sweet Chloë.
